The purpose of this scholarship is to support female students studying towards a research doctoral degree in the College of Arts or the College of Education, Health and Human Development at the University of Canterbury. Financial assistance with the costs associated with university study, to a value of $24,500 per 120 points of thesis enrolment.

The criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

• In a Doctoral programme in the College of Arts or the College of Education, Health and Human Development.

• Female

• A New Zealand Citizen

It will be offered to the top-ranked candidate among those eligible for the UC Doctoral Scholarship but who have not been offered that scholarship. No Separate application is required.
