The purpose of this scholarship is to support female students for study towards a research master’s degree at the University of Canterbury.

It was established in 2017 by the Graduate Women Canterbury (Inc.) Trust Board, to replace the New Zealand Federation of University Women (Inc.) Canterbury Branch Trust

Board Master’s Scholarship, which had been established in 1995.

To apply you must be:

  • Studying at Master's level

  • Female

  • A New Zealand Citizen

  • Studying at the University of Canterbury
